Tele-Town Hall
Upcoming Events: Congressman Souder holds a Tele-Town Hall every third Tuesday.
What is a Tele-Town Hall? These Tele-Town Hall events allow Congressman Souder to provide updates to resident’s of northeast Indiana on the issues of the day. By taking your questions, he can speak to the concerns of many people at once. If a participant wishes to pose a question, he/she can press “zero” on his/her phone keypad in order to enter the queue to ask the Mark a question. We’ve been surprised in the past how many folks have called in with similar questions. This forum allows Mark Souder to speak directly to people about their concerns and share his thoughts on the ever-changing legislative developments in Washington . We encourage you to call-in and ask a question, or listen to the conversation for a few minutes.
How do I join the event? There are three ways to participate in a Tele-Town Hall event. First, anyone can call us on the day of the event. The toll free number for the Tele-Town Hall is 1-888-559-4668. One week prior to the event, we will post the event’s start time on the homepage of souder.house.gov. We will also webcast our event. The link to the webcast will be available via Facebook and souder.house.gov on the day of the event. Finally, one week prior to the event, we will begin accepting questions via email at souder@mail.house.gov. Those who wish send a question should be sure to place “Tele-Town Hall Question” in the title of the email.
